Type: Epiphytic. Trigeneric hybrids derived from the the inter-breeding of Brassavola, Laelia and Cattley orchids.

Features: Large fringe-lipped flowers up to 20cm (8in) across in autumn or winter, mostly in shades of yellow, pink, magenta or white.
Size: Up to 45 x 30cm (1-½ x 1ft) long.

Special needs: Bright light but no direct sun; intermediate and constant temperatures; water plentifully and foliar feed fortnightly during active growth; allow six weeks rest period.
