MUSTARD (Brassica (Sinapis) alba)

Mustard can be sown in exactly the same way as advised for Cress, that is, sown on prepared ground outdoors without any covering of soil. It must be protected from birds by being covered with newspaper or mats for the first few days. In winter, it can be grown in the greenhouse in moderate heat.
