MINT (Mentha viridis)
One of the most easily cultivated of all herbs. It should be planted in some part of the garden where it can remain, and not gathered until the roots are well established. When once a good mint bed has been formed, it is unwise to disturb the roots too much. Some plants can, however, be lifted in autumn and packed into boxes in fairly light moistunder glass, where they will provide useful winter supplies. For the Herb Garden].
