Type: Epiphytic. 

Features: Egg-shaped pseudobulbs each with one to three leaves. Upright flower stems come from the base, each ending in one, waxy, small-lipped, 7.5cm (3in) wide flower. These are long-lasting and appear in spring and early summer, having outspread sepals and smaller petals. Colour ranges from yellowish- green, yellow or orange, to carmine-green and white. 

Size: Up to 30 x 30cm (1 x 1 ft). 
Special needs: Moderate light; cool to intermediate temp.; water moderately and foliar feed fortnightly during active growth; allow a rest period all winter.
