Euryops : Greenhouse Plants

C – cool, minimum of 7°C (45°F)

Family: Compositae

Euryops pectinatus is a most attractive shrub which is almost continuously in flower. The silver-white leaves covered with down are closely crowded together to give a lovely compact appearance and the rich yellow daisy-like flowers are freely produced and held away from the rest of the plant by long 13-cm (5-in) stalks. It is very easy to grow and propagate by cuttings. When it does stop flowering this is a good time to prune it back to restrict size. This is a good plant for pots or planting into the border. Even very small plants will flower.
